Refund and Cancellation Policy

Note for Compumeal: the placeholders marked [TO BE COMPLETED] must be filled in before publication — the operating legal entity and the billing support address. This policy is consistent with clause 8 of the Terms and Conditions, which prevails in the event of conflict.
This policy explains how subscriptions and credit purchases can be cancelled, and when a refund is available. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
1. Summary

2. Cancelling your subscription
You may cancel at any time, without giving a reason, from Settings → Billing inside the App.
When you cancel:
- No further payments are taken.
- You keep full access to your plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not cut you off on the day you cancel.
- Your monthly credit allowance stops when that period ends.
- Any boost pack credits you bought remain valid and can still be used, for 12 months from the date you purchased them.
- Your account, recipes, meal plans and client records are not deleted. You can continue to use the parts of the App that do not require AI credits, and you can resubscribe at any time.
3. Refunds on subscriptions
Subscription fees are non-refundable, including where you cancel before the end of a billing period. This is because you retain access to the paid features for the whole of the period you paid for.
This does not affect any right to a refund that you may have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country. If such a right applies to you, contact us and we will honour it.
4. Refunds on boost packs
A boost pack is a one-off purchase of credits.
- If none of the credits from a boost pack have been used, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
- Once any credit from a boost pack has been used, that pack is non-refundable, because the service it paid for has been delivered.
- Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Expired credits are not refundable.

5. Credits that are returned automatically
You are not charged for AI work we fail to deliver. Credits are returned to your account automatically, with no need to contact us, when:
- a meal-plan generation fails; or
- you request several plan variants and we are able to produce fewer than you asked for — you are only charged for the variants actually delivered.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you and retry the charge over the following days. If it continues to fail, your subscription is suspended rather than repeatedly charged. You will not lose your data, and you can restore access by subscribing again with a working payment method.
7. Pricing and currency
All prices are shown in United States dollars (USD) and the full amount payable is shown on the checkout page before you confirm. You are responsible for any taxes, duties or bank charges that apply in your country.

We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on your bank.
