For dietitians and nutrition clinics in Lebanon and the region

Meal plans built from local food, checked against each patient's targets

Keep patient records, allergies and nutrient targets in one place. Build a day from labneh, fattoush and mujadara as easily as from the USDA list, and watch energy, macros and micronutrients add up against the patient's DRIs as you go.

No card needed to sign up. AI features need a plan.

What you can do with it

The work of a consultation, from intake to a plan the patient takes home.

  • Patient records

Measurements, medical and dietary history, follow-ups and documents in one profile. Allergies are picked from the 14 major allergens; anything typed that the system cannot match is flagged as not machine-enforced.

  • Meal-plan builder

Lay out breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Each item shows its energy and macros, and the coverage panel compares the day with the patient's DRI targets and upper limits.

  • Plan generator

Ask for a day that meets the energy target and the macro range of the chosen diet. It leaves out foods that contain the patient's allergens and tells you which targets it could not meet.

  • Lebanese foods and recipes

Over 800 foods: USDA Foundation Foods plus about 400 Lebanese foods and dishes. Around 200 recipes, from foul mudammas to freekeh with chicken, are added to your practice, and you can add your own.

  • Assistant

Ask for swaps or a quick explanation of a plan. Suggestions come from your food list and are checked against the patient's allergies before you add them.

  • Plans patients can take home

A clean print view of the plan, without the app around it. Print it, or save it as a PDF and send it on.

Also included: a shared calendar for appointments, team roles (owner, admin, member), two-factor sign-in and passkeys, and a full data export from your settings.

How a plan comes together

You stay in charge of every plan. The software does the arithmetic.

  1. Add the patient

Enter measurements, activity level, conditions and allergies. Compumeal works out energy needs and DRI targets for age, sex and life stage, and you can override any of them.

  2. Build or generate the day

Add foods and recipes by hand, or generate a first draft that meets the targets. Either way, the coverage panel shows what is on target and what is not.

  3. Review, print, follow up

Adjust portions until the plan suits the patient, print it for them, and record the follow-up visit so the next plan starts from the latest numbers.

Questions dietitians ask us

Who is Compumeal for?
Dietitians and nutrition clinics, mainly in Lebanon and the wider region, who write individual meal plans for their patients. It assumes a qualified professional reviews every plan. It is not a diet app for the public.
Does it replace my clinical judgement?
No. A generated plan is a draft. You set the targets, review every item and decide what the patient receives. Compumeal is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
Where do the nutrient values come from?
Generic foods come from USDA FoodData Central (Foundation Foods). Lebanese foods and dishes come from a separate list compiled for Compumeal. You can override a food's values for your practice or add your own foods and recipes.
How are allergies handled?
You pick a patient's allergies from the 14 major allergens. The generator and the assistant leave out foods tagged with them, and when a patient has any allergy, foods whose tags have not been checked are left out too. Allergies typed as free text that the system cannot match are shown as not machine-enforced, so you know to check those yourself.
Who can see my patients' data?
Only the people you invite to your practice's workspace. Data is stored in the EU and travels over encrypted connections. When you use the generator or the assistant, the relevant part of the plan is sent to our AI providers, who may not train on it. The Privacy Policy lists every provider.
Is it available in Arabic?
Not yet: the app is in English. Lebanese foods and recipes use the names dietitians already use, such as labneh, mjadara and fattoush.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Create an account and set up your practice, patients, recipes and plans without a card. Generating plans and using the assistant need a plan or a boost pack.
How do I pay?
By card, in US dollars. Each payment covers one month, and renewal is manual for now. The pricing page explains renewal, credits and refunds.
